Zaheb Sultan's Palace Released and On Sale

The name Zaheb means Golden and is perfectly suited for this jewel of the desert. Natural standstone walls and floors are richly embellished with hand-painted details and inlaid with beautiful tile mosaics both inside and out. Carved marble windows can be left open for an airy, inviting atmosphere or closed for privacy. A large front entry, open floor plan, and second story balcony provide a ample space for entertaining honored guests. And from now until Monday, March 9 it will be on sale half price for L$500.

The entire palace is 123 prims and has a 34x34M footprint. It is mod/copy and packaged in a rez-faux box for ease of set up. The furnishings pictured are not included and not yet completed. They will be available for sale in the near future. If you'd like a sneak peek feel free to visit my mainstore and take the teleport in the courtyard up to the build in progress for a bit of exploring.

Petite Chou is very happy to announce it's first Art on the Square artist of the month, Kimberly Mirabeau!

Kimberly's list of achievements is astounding and reads like an SL artist's dream job list including: arts editor for Vain Inc Magazine, curator of the Vain Gallery, editorial model - Vain Inc., the Face of Rebel Hope Designs - Feb 2009, ad designer for RH Designs and RH Engel Jewlery, gallery artist for Avatrait, galleryboard member of Avatrait Gallery, JM Models supermodelphotographer since 2005 and nominated for Best SL Artist (Vain Inc) 2008.

The show will run Feb. 8th to the 15th and all art prints are avalible for purchase.

New Lounger 24 Hour Sale!

I am very excited to release the latest addition to the Alexander furniture set! The Alexander Lounger was created by request for a friend who needed a piece with a 4-way animation. The lounger is oversize so there's plenty of room for everyone to pile on, sprawl out and be comfortable. The individual animations of the 4-way poses are hidden in each of the four seat cushions. There are also couple poses hidden in the arm rests for those quieter moments.

For the next 24 hours, the Alexander lounger in all three colors is on sale HALF PRICE for L$100! The black version is on display in the mainstore and the purple one in Petit Chou. All three can be purchased from the vendors for yourself or as a gift. So drop in, bring a few friends and pile on to try it out. But don't wait because tomorrow it goes up to L$200.

A Beautiful Evening...

The evening of the Grande Opening of Petite Chou was... AMAZING! All day long the village was hopping with people scooping up the dollarbies and sales, exploring the shops and even sitting on the balconies for tea with friends!

At 7 PM SLT the live music begain with Jonas Lunasea swinging out with his energy filled voice and hot tunes. I couldn't have stood still if i wanted too! Jonnnnaaassssssss I luuuurrrrrvvvvv yoooouuuuuuuuuuu!!!!! To round out the evening Dale Katscher's soulful voice and acoustic guitar had people singing along. Will we be having both fellows back for more live music nights at Petite Chou? Oooooh... you bet!

I would like to take this moment to thank each and every one of you, the guests that came to the opening day festivities, the merchants that have worked so incredibly hard and the estate residents who have supported this undertaking with open hearts. Thank you. And, from the very bottom of my heart, a loving thank you to Tally... the one who never said an idea was too stupid and wipped away every tear thru this process.

Come One.. Come All.. Petite Chou's Grande Opening

I have had the immense pleasure to have known Zasa for several years before I convinced her to log in to Second Life and give it ..'one more try'. You see, I have known her since we both played on small servers in an old game called Neverwinter Nights. Neverwinter Nights offered a unique feature most video games did not; that of the average person being able to build and design the worlds they played in. As most of you know by now, Zasa is far above the 'average' person, and even in Neverwinter Nights with its limitations Zasa wove magic. A magic I knew beyond doubt she would also weave in Second Life. And boy was I right.

Zasa was only in world for a few days before she played around with the building features. A week and I believe she had created her first house. One that would have put most n00b builders to shame. A few days after that and she had a rooftop garden complete with twinkle lights in the trees and a house filled with furniture. She would cringe at that first bed now.... but it was amazing in it's own right. Flex prim curtains swayed on the canopy and it was adorned in lush lace.

It wasn't long after that and Zasa's first store "Bella" was opened. And with the birth of Bella came the dream of a sim.

These days Zasa has a firm command of the build tools, and an amazing ability to bring a dream to fruition. That dream is seen in Dans le Montagnes, in the village Petit Chou, in La Belle Vie, her furniture store all grownup, and in Ztique, where she is taking the fashion world by storm.

May you too be blessed by knowing Zasa and the beauty she brings to Second Life. Through her creations, yes, but mostly by her presence.

I am so excited to be able to open my new Crossroad Dreams branch shop in the village of Petite Chou. It is a rare privilege to share this adventure alongside several of the friends and fellow builders who have inspired my own creativity.

I specialize in custom builds both large and small. If you can dream it, I can build it. My designs are prim conscious without sacrificing quality and use the best scripts, animations and textures for a beautiful, functional finished product. It is my goal to make your second life beautiful, even on a prim budget.

My shop is filled with odds and ends that I have built for myself or friends, or just because I had an idea in my head. Most of the items are copy/mod but are available in vendors to purchase as gifts. If you see something that you like but isn't quite perfect for you, please contact me and I will be happy to modify it to suit your personal style. Let me make your dreams come true.

What could be more perfect than sharing tea and gossip with a friend in a little French sidewalk cafe? How better to spend an afternoon than to shop for antiques, shoes and pastries, to have a girl's day at the spa or an evening under the stars as you listen to beautiful and soulful live musical performances? For myself, I can think of very few and that is the why of how Petite Chou came to be.

For over a year, I have dreamed of creating a little village in Second Life, filled with delightful shops and seeped in the flavor of the French country side. I dreamed of luxurious estates that were comforting and private, yet connected with a sense of community. And now I offer that dream to you, painted in pixels and tended with a gentle hand from the lush garden of my spirit.
